Pertamina Water Resources Risk ManagementPertamina Water Risk Assessment Tools is a web-based application developed by Pertamina to evaluate external impacts, business risks, opportunities and management plans related to water use and disposal at company locations or operations.
Water Availability
Water Availability is related to SDGs point 6.4. Availability is pursued by increasing the efficiency of water use, at the same time ensuring the sustainability of taking and returning clean water to avoid scarcity and reduce the number of people experiencing scarcity.
Water Quality
Water Quality is related to SDGs point 6.3. It is focused on reducing pollution and minimizing the release of hazardous materials and substances. The aim of both measures is to halve the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially increase recycling and safe reuse globally.
Water Accessibility
Water Accessibility is related to SDGs points 6.1 and 6.2. In SDGs point 6.1 focuses on equitable access to clean water (with drinking water standards). While SDGs 6.2 points focus on equitable access to access to adequate and fair sanitation and hygiene for all.

Case study on the use of Pertamina Water Risk Tools at EP SukowatiPT Pertamina EP Asset 4 Sukowati Field (PEP Sukowati) is a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) engaged in the upstream oil and gas business. PEP Sukowati began operations in May 2018 after the transfer of management from JOB Pertamina - Petrochina East Java (JOB PPEJ). In 2021 PEP Sukowati produced 1,944,874.31 BOPD of oil and 3,183.09 MMSCFD of gas.
